Hey there!
I’m so glad you found your way here!
I’m Dave Mac. A 42 year old Australian guy living in Japan. In my non-virtual world I coach business people how to deliver awesome, engaging presentations.
My background is IT, project management, marketing, and finance.
I’ve been very lucky with the roles I’ve had and had the chance to work across Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, and Australasia.
In all the roles I’ve had I found one inescapable fact:
Good presentation skills are essential.
If you can speak confidently, present a point of view, and engage an audience, you have a massive advantage over most business people. If you are not a confident speaker, don’t worry. There are very few naturals. By understanding and practicing some fundamental concepts you can quickly improve your presentation and speaking skills.
The fundamental areas in a successful presentation are:
- Audience
- Topic
- Slides
- Follow-up
To help get you started, check out these popular articles for each of the fundamental areas:
